Laurien Dufour

Laurien is one of the founders of WIJ advocaten. She specialises in personal injury law as well as professional liability for civil-law notaries, lawyers and other profesionals. She regularly publishes articles in various professional journals.

She was previously employed at the Supreme Court’s Research Department and changed over to the legal profession in 2003. At Houthoff Buruma she advised insurers and conducted legal proceedings on coverage, liability and extent of damage on their behalf. In addition, she regularly acted as deputy registrar at the Disciplinary Board, and lectured on liability law at VU University in Amsterdam.
